Idk if that's a residue or if that I've damaged it using the hybrid lube, but it only happened after using lube with some silicon in it.Anyways, it is really easy to clean, there aren't really many nooks that can trap moisture or grime.Overall, really good product, please add information on if silicone based lube works with this without damaging the toy.
